Introducing the Gardens Hand Crocheted Shorts. A harmonious blend of conscious design & craftsmanship. Cultivated from 100% Organic Peruvian cotton, these shorts embrace our environmental priorities, promoting growth within ecosystems over depletion. The meticulous process of botanical hand dyeing, knitting & embroidering takes many days to complete for each piece - crafting a product of exceptional quality, time & dedication. These shorts feature an eco elastic waistband constructed from organic cotton & Malaysian Tree sap, finished with organic cotton drawstring. Care
Botanical dyes will fade over time, this isn’t seen as a fault - rather the natural course of using plants in our collections. To ensure the most colour fast results, follow the below:
- Hand wash using cold water & PH neutral detergent
- Wash quickly, minimally & never soak
- Lay flat to dry in the shade, dry by softly squeezing the garment not wringing
- Never iron, never bleach & never dry clean
No two knitted/crocheted garments are the same due to our unique natural dyes - over time with washing & wearing, you can expect your piece to take on slightly different colour, to fade & for your embroidery to reflect the amazing colours present in each yarn, giving everybody a unique pair that shifts & changes with you. See our tutorials for a guide on caring for your new pieces.
